Classes are fun! But they are also serious. I'm not doing a demo where you come, watch me, while sipping wine
(don't get me wrong, those are fun, but that is not my style of class).
It's a full-hands on class meant to lead bread bakers into a more meaningful understanding of the baking process.

Please bring enthusiasm! I will expect engagement, conversation, questions etc....whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced baker.

Now, sorry, this has to be said; you must come ready to learn and to be teachable. There are only 6, sometimes 8, students in each class and a negative attitude can have a souring effect on the rest of the class. I say this primarily to students who come and think they know more than they do - and then get upset because they struggle learning the skills necessary to form the dough etc.

We always end class, time permitting, with gathering and eating freshly baked bread and the appropriate accoutrements.
I provide water and lemonade throughout the class, but please feel free to bring your own water/beverage bottle.

Please wear something comfortable, bearing in mind that even if it's 25 degrees outside, with the ovens heated, the classroom will be warm.

I love teaching and have enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful folks! I look forward to baking with you!
